Terms and Conditions

Please note that before any work is carried out, it is the customers responsibility to back up their data, and they understand
that the engineer or the company the engineer represents can not be held liable for the loss of any data.

You are Responsible  For.
All your own backups.  And we do mean absolutely anything you can't do without on your computer.
All your own software.  We do not supply illegal or copies of any software. We do not install any illegal software. This
includes operating systems, applications and packages.  The list is to detailed to post here in full.

The safe keeping of your equipment.  If you broke it, whatever the circumstances, we are not liable.  This includes software.  
If you delete important files or cause corruption on your computer, or allow a malicious program such as a virus to damage
your software, we will charge you to fix it.

Ordering goods you want.  
We only purchase goods, software and licenses when you specifically ask for us to go our and obtain such goods.  We do not
sell goods online and so the DSR act is not applicable.  Goods remain the property of Tech Response  until paid in full.  We
regret that software and licences that are not required may not be returned for a refund.

Keeping appointments.  
If you want to cancel, please give us some notice first.  Once you make a verbal or written agreement and there is no one at
the site to meet us or communicate the fault properly to us, we will charge you for our time at the hourly rate in hourly
increments.  If we have to wait longer than 15 minutes we may charge you for waiting time.  Our staff do their best to help you.  
Any abuse onsite, by e-mail or over the phone will not be tolerated.  In such situations we will pull our staff from your site
leaving your equipment as is.  We will also charge you for wasting our time.

If you have purchased an incompatible item or software from another supplier and ask us to install it, you will be liable for our
time even if we can not get the incompatible item/software to work.  Will will not accept any liability for incompatibility issues.
If you ask us to remove a virus and we need to reformat your hard drive(s), we are not liable for the loss of your data.  You
may also incur costs if you wish us to re-install Windows, drivers and applications from legal and licensed software only.
All work undertaken by us is subject to terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time.  However any agreed rate will be honoured or the order cancelled.
We reserve the right to add, remove, change or amend any service at any time.
